Depends on what you want to do there I suppose. I didn't go to university after completing A-Levels mainly because I wouldn't have really known what to do and would have probably come out with a debt (and quite possibly a drug problem!) that I couldn't have handled. I really loved English at school but didn't have a clue what I would do with a degree in it.
I started work as a trainee veterinary nurse when I left school, still went out and did all the 'mad' things you're supposed to do at uni but paid my own way!
If you have a good idea of what you want to do and think it will help you achieve what you want out of life then it's not a waste of time but if you want to go just to waste some time, get laid loads and drink then in the long run it probably is. Your call I guess.

All depends what course you do? If you study for a profession such a Dentistry..architecture..etc..then no - as you will have a decent job at the end of it..but if you want to go and study something like...latin..then you have about 4 lectures a week about a subject that wont help you get a job but land in a big pile of debt afterwards!

Well, if you are doing some useless course that you can't get any decent jobs with other than working for Sainsbury's stacking shelves then yes, it is a waste of time. If you choose a good course and do well at it then you have better chances of getting a decent job that will give you good earnings.

Depends what career you are going for, it may be more beneficial to do an apprenticeship - that way you can earn and get your qualifications!

Totally Agree!! Uni is for brainwashing and getting you ready for the SYSTEM, like the 'MATRIX'...

you don't realise you're getting manipulated coz you get the freedom to smoke dope etc etc..or so they have you think!!

Don't go......it's the REAL Matrix!!!!
