Guinea pigs need a lot of vitamin C in their diet as they can die from a deficiency in vitamin C, they become rigid and the only way to help them is to syringe liquid vitamin C into their mouths. So ensure they have a daily diet of carrots, apples etc not citrus fruits though, even though these are high in vitamin C. Good luck!

They will eat all kinds, as long as its fresh and good quality.
My girlfriend has had hers for 6 years now!
She gives it fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber etc every day along with a dish of pet shop food for them. They love Broccoli stalks, carrots etc. Basically they wont eat it if they don't like it.
Key is to make sure they get enough vitamin C so some orange (segments not juice!) is good for them on a regular basis.
