First he made the blunt smart **** statement that he was gonna score 50 and he wasn't close. Next he said he wasn't gonna be runner up in the 3pt contest and then Kapono killed him. Then in the all star game no one but Lebron did their thing.

Gilbert may very well be the MVP this year and\actually he should because he has had the best year statistically and has put up some very big numbers in games, But NASH may receive it WHY I don't know, I think he is the GREAT WHITE HOPE. One game (the all star game does not make a difference, and in actuality its just an exhibition game and does not count anything toward statistics for the year) Gilbert has had the best year so far and if Washington makes it past the first round he will have accomplished something because Washington has not done that in many many years.

You cant blame him too much though i mean its his time in the spotlight and people tend to get carried away with the fame. That said, he is great for the game. I mean people want to see whether he lives up to a statement and therefore more people are going to watch a Portland vs Washington game. He has said in his blog that there is another game against Portland soon so he still has a chance to score the 50.

As much as I love and respect Arenas' game, he needs to shut the hell up! He needs to grow up and be a man and let that grudge with the USA Olympics Team go. For him to go out and say he wish he could play Duke, score 50 on the Blazers and Suns is ridiculous and childish.
He was stupid for doing that trampoline dunk as well last night. What if he got hurt?

I think Gilbert should shut up. He did not deserve to be on Team USA. Members include the great players, not the ones who get high point per game because he heaves the ball up fifty times.

Arenas needs to shut up. But I guess he realizes that his "fifteen minutes of fame" won't last much longer so maybe that's why he keeps opening his trap. Agent Ballhog is just another 3rd tier star & scorer like Ray Allen and Michael Redd. He soon will be forgotten. And there is no way he wins MVP.

hahaha you read my mind HELL YES omg if Kobe, or Marbury or anyother superstar was going around planning on scoring 50 they would be hated, but people dont seem to mind because its him. im undecided weather i like him or not he seems like an ok guy but he can be an *** too. I think he is under the impression he is the best scorer in the league aswell, when carmello, kobe, wade, micheal redd and, on any given night, t-mac are all better scorers than him.

haha gilbert does need to learn to shut that big mouth of his. he just doesnt know that sometimes he comes across as arrogant when he's really just trying to be funny. he's always been cocky and i think now that he's showing it a lot more, people like me are getting fed up with it. i like him a lot but im starting to go out of my mind with his *********. they say you shouldnt make promises you cant keep right???? well agent zero needs to learn how to stop talking so much smack and start backing his sh!t up before he goes and chokes on his own words.
