My wife and I have decided to take a chance and make a change. We have decided that we would like to relocate to Wisconsin. My wife currently works a Public Safety dispatcher here in Rapid City, SD. The center she works for is know for being one of the number call centers in the world. So she have no problem finding work. As for me I currently work for the Pennington County Sheriffs office as a Drug and Alcohol Technician. This not where ultimatley want to be. My desire is to work in Law Enforcement. I realy don't have a prefference City, County, or State. Whar advice can you give me about finding oppurtunities in this area. Over here the politics are so bad if you don't know the right person or have some one who doesn't like you, You have no Chance. Lately they have been hiring 21 year old kids with no life experience that they turn around and fire after 6 months. This has been going on for the past couple of years. Any way any advice would be apreciated.
Thanks

This may not be the exact answer, but almost anywheres in Wisconsin is nice. You can go to a real city environment like Milwaukee, to a small community like ours right on Lake Michigan (Algoma...pop. 3200) Or in between like Green Bay. Wisconsin has a lot to offer and depends on the type of town your looking. We moved here in 1994 from the east coast and we love it.
