How to end my movie?

I created a movie with Windows Movie Maker and it is saved as 6 minutes long but how do I cut it until 3 minutes only?

you have to edit it some more. that's the only way. cut out the bits that aren't important to the story you are telling, be ruthless, then you can trim down some scenes by a few seconds to tighten the pace a bit or fine tune. only save the best bits.
