I'm thinking of Cuba Gooding Junior being knocked unconscious and landing on his head and still holding onto a football in "Jerry McGuire" Then there's every second of Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayal of an All-City basketball player in "The Basketball Diaries." Do any others come to mind?

Rocky in Rocky IV

a referee was interviewd about his fight and he said that if that had been a real fight, they would have called it long before the 15th round. Rocky fell 13 times that fight.

I evaluate 'Rocky' a perfect movie, and the ending is as emotionally pleasing as any i have ever seen. the instantaneous on the right of the steps on the museum continually get me, too. So, i wager it is a 2-fer.

In the film, "Any Given Sunday" the scene where the football player's eye is ripped completely from his socket! Massive effects but unrealistic

i don't really watch many sports movies, but i've seem trailers of this movie called 'ice princess'. it's about this math genius who figures out how to become a pro ice skater by working out the exact degree it takes to pull off a perfect spin, etc etc. pretty unrealistic, i think.
oh, and there's another disney movie about this chimpanzee learning to snowboard.

the fact that almost all of them are about a crappy (insert sport here) team that gets a new coach...the team improves dramatically...and they win the championship at the end...all including the dramatic music
