it is not the fact that is nominated that adds to its value.
it is a totally festival movie, they even showed it in the Arsenal biennale in Latvia.
i think it is very misanthropic & depressive, pretty much as all the other DM's creations.
so what? it is an eye catcher for arty film fans & sure gives credit to Indian cinema.
i just think art should make our life more beautiful & positive, not make you wanna go hang after you have watched a movie...

i thought that the OSCAR nomination of WATER is a one tight slap for those who didnot let Deepa Mehta 2 shoot the film in India.
