METALLICA!
I suspect the RHCP are great, too, but haven't yet seen them live.
Oh, and LAIBACH are fantastic, too!

Have to say Muse. Was always a fan, but since seeing them live last year they've become my favourite band, to the extent I got tickets for both nights they're playing Wembley; they're that good!

I was totaly surprised by KISS! For sheer show
and schtick. Stanley still rocks.
Early ZZ TOP!
For straight up rock and harmony "Dave Mason"
Alice Cooper, over the top
Wilco for honest music
Trout Fishing for power duo acoustic
Few DEAD HEADS will ever forget seeing the Dead live..
even if it's just a flashback......and then the aliens sent me back...

Gogol Bordello - So much energy, and craziness (seeing the lead singer and one of the percussionists crowd surfing whilst stood on a drum was completely mental)
Ozomatli - Great Music, the band seem to get as sweaty as the crowd, Lively Latin/Hip-Hop based music.
Bjork - Always a pleasure to see her, and she always gives us something different

The Indigo Girls. Saw them live in Bristol last night. No one can match their guitar playing, harmony singing and sheer stage presence. They only come to the UK about once every 5 years. They're playing Birmingham tonight so catch them if you can!

Meat Loaf bar none.
This is a guy that when he first started put so much into his music, he had to have oxygen after his show as he would almost pass out on the stage.
Worst band: Guns and Roses. Ripoff.

The Offspring--they usually take people from the crowd on stage and Dexter always crowd surfs.
Rammstein (from Germany)--they have all kinds of pyrotechnics and they shoot out not only from the stage, but Till (the lead singer) wears this contraption that allows him to spin his arms and flames go shooting everywhere.
