I think they arnt meant to mention a childs name as a child is too young to consent to anything identifiable. When it is said by accident they beep it out. I feel sorry for any of these poor kid who have had their DNA business dragged through the public eye.

For legal rights, they are under age and their names cannot be mentioned on TV.

I'm assuming sometimes they cannot provide permission, or the parents ask them to withhold the name prior to transmission to protect anonymity.
