I want play my xbox 360 using my laptops screen because my tv sucks..what do I need to buy to be able to do this? and will the quality be good? better than a crappy non-HDTV television?

Laptop screen? Hmm, that would be pretty hard...... If not possible, since it's a laptop, I don't think it has inputs for external displays. only for output probably.
If you're aiming for a computer monitor though, it might be possible, try searching for a "componen cable" for the X-Box 360.

Try buying TV Tuners (USB Type) with Component inputs. :)
