9/11 Conspiracy Theorists seem just like religious nutters?

See the BBC2 program last night? All rubbish theories easily debunked. Seem like those who believed in them are like those who believe in religion - need something to explain why something is or was, rather than just accepting things happen.

e.g. Wreckage from United 93 was 7 miles from the crash suggesting it was shot down. Er, 7 miles by road the other side of the lake, 1 mile as the crow flies and downwind from the crash site!

Thought I'd get some nutters answering - see the long answer! Perhaps he didn;t see the program and the oh so simple answers to the issues raised by Loose Change

There is a lot of evidence to prove the official story is a tremendous lie, people are just searching for the truth.

Maybe these conspiracy's are true, wouldn't it be better to find out the true.

We live in a society where we are constantly craving for money, energy and pleasure. By all of this the governments are all under pressure how to maintain their good reputation by pleasing their own people.

This world is surrounded by the starry eyes of BIG BROTHER, whose to say the the Secret Intelligence didn't plan this.

One day the truth will come out, we have been lied by the government once before, we will be lied to again.

Those victims that died on 9/11 deserve justice, people are trying to gather evidence and understand what really happened.

what happened that day was bad and i think whoever conspired to plot it should be brought to justice:

If we beleive what the US goverment says there are still things which dont add up, maybe the US doesnt wish to share it with us at this moment etc How come US Military radar didnt detect the Jet liners going of course and scramble fighters to shoot them down before they hit the WTC??

It's holes like this in the story which people find curious and do research into and dig up other stuff and make conspiracy theories

I'm not taking a side on this, but everynow and then i get something sent to me via email about 9\11 about whether it was set up or not and im fed up with it I just want to know the truth

The Bush administration orchestrated the 9/11 attacks. Consider the following:

1) Read "Operation Northwoods", the US government's formerly classified plans to develop a "terror campaign" to CREATE an "apparent threat to peace in the Western hemisphere" in 1962. Page 10 describes how to FAKE an attack using a commercial plane so to TRICK the public into supporting military action on Cuba/Castro. (Just for fun, pretend it says Iraq/Hussein or Afghanistan/bin Laden wherever it says Cuba/Castro, and see if anything sounds familiar.)

2) Note that Saddam Hussein was NOT tried for anything related to 9/11. Consider how much MORE money and effort was put into finding, trying, and executing HIM than in tracking down Osama bin Laden, who was allegedly responsible, yet is still roaming around freely.

3) The man in the infamous needle-in-a-haystack "confession" tape is clearly NOT Osama bin Laden - compare with the FBI's own photos and description and see. The 9/11 attacks are not even mentioned in the FBI's Wanted poster for him. George W. Bush stated that he was "not concerned" about bin Laden because HE KNOWS that Osama had nothing to do with it, and that the U.S. already had plans for invading the Middle East as of 9/9/01, two days BEFORE the faked attacks.

4) WHY, when Bush's scheduled appearance at an elementary school on 9/11/01 had been well-publicized, didn't the Secret Service evacuate hundreds of innocent children to safety, and whisk him away to an unknown, secure location IMMEDIATELY, if the U.S. was TRULY under attack by foreign terrorists? THREE allegedly suspicious incidents involving Middle Easterners threatening Bush were reported in the Florida town where he was staying on 9/10/01, yet instead of being rushed to safety, he continued his visit with the children (rendering him unavailable to make defensive decisions that only the President can make), and then gave a press conference at EXACTLY the time and place he was previously SCHEDULED to be. When his plane finally left Florida over a half-hour later, there was still NO military security escort. Isn't the President supposed to be protected at all costs in the event of a REAL attack on the nation? Shouldn't the schoolchildren have at least been made less of a target?

5) How did a piece of PAPER from inside the clothing of a man who was allegedly on a plane that EXPLODED in a fireball that was supposedly hot enough to vaporize the entire plane AND destroy a steel skyscraper for the first time ever in history, just happen to float out safely UNSINGED? Isn't it a little too convenient that similar items were miraculously found at the other crash sites, where the planes also mysteriously vaporized, unlike any other plane crashes?

6) Larry Silverstein leased the money-pit WTC buildings just 6 weeks before 9/11, and protected them with several insurance policies that would pay out over $7 billion in the event of TWO destructive incidents (convenient, huh?!). Several requests for permits to demolish the buildings had been denied because they were full of asbestos. Fortunately, Silverstein had just negotiated the right to rebuild them in the event they were destroyed.

7) WTC7, another Silverstein property insured for hundreds of millions, was only the 3rd steel frame skyscraper in history to collapse due to a fire that didn't burn hot enough to actually melt steel (WTC 1 & 2 were the first two - other steel buildings with significantly larger and longer fires remain standing). In 2005, Silverstein admitted to having approved the controlled demolition of WTC7, which occurred just hours after the attacks. WHEN did demolitions experts SET those charges throughout the building that day (amidst the carnage and rescue efforts), and wasn't it a bit risky to send people in to place explosives if there were lethal fires burning inside it? Why doesn't the official report on 9/11 mention the destruction of WTC7?

8) On October 12, 2001, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was interviewed by a reporter about the recent 9/11 attacks. In response to a question about how the attacks could have happened without any warnings, Rumsfeld said, "Here we're talking about plastic knives and using an American Airlines flight filed with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center." WHY did RUMSFELD speak of a MISSILE damaging the Pentagon building, if it was really a PLANE? The entire transcript of the interview is posted on the U.S. Department of Defense website. I did watch the BBC2 programme last night, but to be fair, i DID also see the Loose Change video on the internet, and thought all their arguments to be true and valid - Until last night, no one had explaned these arguements otherwise and i think a lot of people still have un answered questions that need to be answered.

Sadly you are being swept up into the new world order that the US govanment are enforcing onto the world. The event of 9/11 was set up by the Bush adninistration to bring about a fear into the minds of everyday Americans and convince them to be subjected to the controls and limitations that is now in America. The next step to eye scanning is micro chipping, with a micro chip eveyone has their personal data in their hand or head with that, there will be no need for money, simply walk about which brig brother watching your movement. Oh, you have to ask first if you want to go out for the weekend and give details of where you are going and if the computer finds you elsewhere, then you'll be arested for not being where you said you'd be. By causing the events of 9/11 the entire world was woken up to the plight that hit New York and people feel sory for those who have been hurt for no fault of their own. So they are fed the terros fear factor just like they were fed the Reds Under The Beds tactics of the 1950's. What you think-is. By being fearful of a terro attack then you are creating this energy into your lives so by not accepting the gamer the government are enforcing , then the terro plauge will vanish and the govanment will not be able to control people or demand higher taxes to keep the game in motion. Anyone who is half intelligent knows that a few arabs didnt manage to do all that wreckage to the usa all by themselves. Its far too in depth to explain in this answer but of course it was the bush administration, anyone with half a brain knows that, its just something we as society have to put up with. We know Lee Harvey oswald didnt kill kennedy, we know Princess Diana didnt die in an innocent car crash, but what can anyone do. Its very sad, but yet a very scary and controlled world we live in

What no one has ever explained is how nineteen known Islamic extremists were allowed to walk through an airport and when two of them were challenged and found to be carrying knives and box cutters were allowed to board the aircraft. that is just one of the many unexplained events that took place that day
