Not necessary, The hymen is a fold of mucous membrane which surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal opening. It forms part of the vulva, or external genitalia. Some girls are born WITHOUT a hymen at ALL (See en.wikipedia.org). The most common formation of the hymen is crescentic or crescent-shaped, although several other formations are possible. A woman's hymen is destroyed when she gives birth; she may be left with remnants called carunculae mytriformes or the hymen may be completely absent.
The hymen has no known anatomical function. In societies which value chastity, the greatest significance of the hymen is a traditional belief that an intact hymen indicates a state of intact virginity. However, it is not possible to confirm that a woman or post-pubescent girl is a virgin by examining the hymen.[9] A physician routinely checks the appearance of the hymen of baby girls at birth [citation needed], and again during all future pelvic examinations[citation needed]. In cases of suspected rape or sexual abuse a detailed examination of the hymen may be carried out, however the condition of the hymen alone is often inconclusive or open to misinterpretation, especially if the patient has reached puberty. Hymen is a very very flexible tissue and don't result in Much blood as commonly known, blood is so small in amount that it may only change your white juice into rose pink. You probably hurt your Vagina by an object.

I assume you are talking about the hymen breaking. Look, the state of a female's hymen has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not she is a virgin. I can't believe how many girls dont get this.
You can break your hymen horseback riding or doing gymnastics but you will still be a virgin then, wont you? Masturbation is no different. You are a virgin until you have sex ( sex with yourself doesn't count ) with another person. End of.

well i consider loosing your virginity, the first time you have sex(rape dosent count) but you may have popped your cerry, but i still consider you a virgin, but sex may sill hurt because the vagina is not stretched to the size of a penis.....unless of coarse what you use to pop your cherry was about the size of a penis, then ther should be no pain....hope it helps

Losing your virginity involves a penis in the vagina for the first time. I dont really think it matters about the whole cherry thing.

If it was your first time masturbating and you bled, then yes, your hymen ("cherry") did break. However, that does not mean that your first time having sexual intercourse with a male will not hurt. More than likely, it will.

Well that's one special moment you'll never have. Try not to ruin any more potential special moments. You'll live a life of regrets.
