You should talk to the principal again, this time with your parents present, and request that some type of action be taken on this issue. If the response is not satisfactory, go to the school board next. As a student it's your right not to have to deal with a hostile learning environment, especially one perpetrated by a teacher

Has it occurred to many of you answerer's that no one should have to have a sense of humor over jokes of a personal nature. You don't know why he had to miss school anymore than the teacher probably does. We get all up in arms about children being bully's and they get some of their best bullying techniques from adults. You tell him not be a "pansy" and toughen up. He shouldn't have to be any different just to get along in school...especially with a teacher. Please, you people need to grow up!!!!

Okay, since what the teacher said was true I don't think you can really do anything about that. Sorry! He was stating the truth and if you are embarrased about it then you need to talk to the teacher and the principal again.

There is nothing that's going to stop you from suing the teacher, everything is in you favor, you should just think of you this is going to influence you, your future and your future at that school. It is your human right not to be treated unfairly and if you feel you are being treated unfairly someone is violating your human right.

How will suing help? Money won't bring back your dignity. And carrying on about it only draws attention to it. Clearly the teacher is joking, so perhaps just laugh along and don' t take it so seriously .

And you know this, how? Did someone tell you? How do you know that what they said is really what happened? When I was in junior high, people in my class tried all kinds of tricks to get me to do things to get myself in trouble. Better to not get so mad about something stupid like this. Save it for when you really need to get mad about something. If you are getting this upset, people are laughing about it, trust me. Just join in and laugh about it. They got you this time and you will get them next time. Don't get upset. That is VERY uncool. Don't blow it.

I heard how one of the first women at the military academy had a classmate pour ketchup all over her white uniform shoes under the table at dinner without her realizing it. He got her. SHE got upset and started screaming about it. Who was expelled? She was. What she did was very uncool. You say,"You got me this time, I will get you next time." Laugh about it and move on.

Why waste energy and react the way they expect you to react. Grow up and get some personal control. You cannot lash out about every little thing that happens to you. It is just a joke, take it like one.

If someone seriously insults you and means it personally, then get a lawyer, otherwise --- can't you take a joke?

call a lawyer.

The lawyer will want to know what kind of wacky weed you've been smoking... or take your case.

My bet is he'll ask about the weed.
