I use a foundation primer (Sephora), then apply my foundation (MAC) with a foundation brush, then apply concealer (Rimmel) using a concealer brush and then pat some translucent powder to finish off. My foundation looks ok, but after about an hour (if i'm laughing/smiling) i see creases in the foundation around my eyes! How do i stop this? What am i dong wrong with my routine?

Ok, so from the first description i put down, at first glance, it SEEMS that i use a lot of make-up. However, whether i use the primer and powder in my routine or not, i still have the SAME problem.

1. I have to use the foundation over my entire face cos i don't have the most even complexion (and using it only on certain spots will highlight that uneveness).
2. I only use concealer sparingly over certain spots on my cheeks and then to cover the dark circles by my eyes.

Now that there's more info, are there any more ideas to help me??

Simply put, you're using too much makeup. Try using a more sheer foundation and only lightly powdering spots where you put the concealer to set i t.

its not that you're using too much, its perhaps the base with which you start, moisturise your face well about 10 mins before you apply your make up, give it time to "soak in" that should do the trick

using too much product? (didn't mean that to sound as b*tchy as it came out!) I use bare minerals and have alleviated creases and uneven wear that used to occur with my other make-up application(s). Takes alot less time to apply as well!
