I am going away on a school trip with one of my teachers. Now I am a good student, and I don't cause trouble, and I hand all of my work in on time. But I don't have the relationship that she has with a lot of her students. Like they will say hello and laugh together when they see each other out of class. How can I built a kind of repore with my teacher?
I think that it will make the trip much more enjoyable and comfortable.

You will have a chance when you go on your school trip. Just try not to be nervous. Your teacher is just a person like everyone else.
Are you going alone on this trip with your teacher or will there be other students going along too?
You may just be a little quieter than the other students. I am sure your teacher has already noticed you because of your work. She or he will probably seek you out on this trip in order to get to know you better.

R u goin alone wth the teacher for the trip? If u r in a group, i would suggest that joining a conversation that the teacher is on wth other kids may help. another thing u can try to say hello to her just like other kids do. But most of all, be urself. why do u wnt to hav that reltnship anyway? is it becoz other kids have it? i think for that relnship to exist must be the teachers work not u. let her do that, she is d adult afterall. just be urself n try out the above 2 if it doesnt work.. just leave it to her. enjoy ur trip

Start small talk with your teacher. Dont be shy.....its only holding you back from possibly getting to know more about your teacher and future conversations.
Everyone is more comfortable around people that they "actually" know....so start chatting.

Building rapport with a teacher is not a tough business at all. teacher may have his/favourites but she tries to be imparial in behaviour. show a little friendliness and give her a card or whatever small token of appreciation u feel comfy in giving, to start with. secondly, the atmosphere in a trip is so relaxed, you see if u dont come back friends with her! enjoy!!!

Don't be shy. If you're shy then nothing much will change, just start by saying hello regularly, then start to develop.

if ur teacher is a male jus think him as ur father
or if it is a female think as ur mother. All ur shyness will fly off.
