If you have such a passion for it you should definately go to cosmetology school. Also, if your not sure about nursing then you could do some volunteer ambulance work, which is great because it teaches you the basics of nursing and its a lot of hands on work. You would know within a couple of weeks wether or not you want to do it for sure. Your parents sound great, and I'm sure they'd want you to follow your dream :) Thanks for answering my question :)
