How's the job market for primary school teachers in Australia?

Basically I'm going to be moving to Australia in a year or so for TC and would like to know if it is worthwhile to entertain the notion of staying in Australia to teach. I will be doing Primary. Any information about whatever area you are in (or know about) would be greatly appreciated. Web searches do not yield a great lot of information, and hardly indicate the normal circumstances!
