WELL bluetooth is preferred but if you dont have it or choose to use the cable , I got a motorola and on the motorola website they offer phone works for 30 dollars, it works with any motorla phone , download it on pc and plug in phone and then use phone to get online (great for backup internet or labtop service) backup your contacts and put pics and ringers to your phone and take pics on your phone and put them on your pc . all phone manufactorers offer similar items on the website ie samsung.com motorola .com etc good luck

From my pc to (or from) my cel, I really prefer the bluetooth setup. Eliminates the cables.
