Beg for forgiveness. I don't need to beg for permission. I'm an adult.

I'd rather beg for permission, since begging for forgiveness indicates you did something wrong. While I'm not perfect, I wouldn't want to have done anything, within my own power, that would require forgiveness.

depends on the situation, If I should have asked permission then I would ask for forgivness, as you cannot squeeze water from a stone if someone doesn't want to forgive a transgression I will not keep begging same goes with permission.

beg for permission- if you have permission to do something, you don't need to beg for forgiveness coz you're allowed to do it anyway.
