I worked at McDonalds for five years. Two years as crew/trainer and three years as Second Assistant Manager. I found that there were a lot of both good and bad experiences. I made a lot of good friends and I learnt a lot as well about management and the industry, but I dont think its enough to keep you going really. Plus my store manager was really unsupportive and my owner/operator even less so. Its a good system if you want to stay and work your guts off and go up the system, or if you want to get a bit of experience behind your belt. Not something that you are going to be (if you have any motivation) happy with for a great period of time. The hours suck, some of the crew suck and the customers suck, but at the same time some of my fonest memories are behind that counter and in that kitchen!

I worked at McDonalds in high school. I had bad experiences especially when it gets busy, and you try finding coverage for shifts because you're going to put in a lot of hours. The good experience is FREE food on lunch break

I have worked there twice. Same store I left the first time because I moved to another state. I moved back and worked there again until I finished college.
I enjoyed it because I had fun with the other workers. If you have good fun-loving attitude it makes it easier on all. I use to do the chicken dance and hokey-pokey in drive-thru when we were slow. It made laughs and everyone was in a better mood.

I did, when I was in high school.
It was fun. I only worked the closing shift and it was suprisingly fun for the duration.
