The only way to get that one is to hope and pray that your cousin remembers the password. Hopefully that hint, grads, will help them...

Is the password for when the computer first comes on? If so, there is a jumper on your motherboard to clear cmos. Get someone technically inclined to jump it otherwise USE RUBBER GLOVES. Its next to the batter. Move the jumper, try to turn the computer on without it plugged in, and put the jumper back.

If the password is in windows and you have windows xp home, turn on your computer from being completely off. Start pressing F8... don't hold it, just keep tapping it. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to go to safe mode and press enter two times The usual welcome screen will come up but you willl see administrator. If administrator doesn't have a password, that's how you can get in. Once you get in go to the control panel on the start menu. Go to user accounts, Click on your name, and change or remove the password.

Other than this, you need to put in your windows cd and do a new install....not repair!

a password when openning or after openning windows.

If possible open it in command mode
find the file with filename extension .pwl
delete it

If the password asked before windows open the case. disable the bataries. Make short circuit Be careful you may damage your computer.

Or
use trial and error methods.

if a file required a password to open, send it to me, I will send you the password.
