It's very stupid. When you're in the public eye and your profession depends on revenue from the public then it's very foolish to denigrate a segment of your audience. I won't buy products or support anything put out by people like Hardaway, Michael Richards, Gibson and Hilton. What kind of an idiot would I be if I was an actor with an upcoming movie and went on Jay Leno and made a bunch of racist remarks?

Some folks are just stuck on stupid and will never learn when to shut their pieholes. I have worked with people like that, we supposed had diversity training etc. but it must have went right in one ear and out the other.
It is a lack of class and common courtesy to be so un-PC nowadays.

I don't know if some ever will learn. They remind me of the relidiots who continue religious blather on that same subject. If their belief says they shouldn't do it, then they shouldn't do it, their beliefs and their little list of no-no means absolutely nothing to the non-believers.

People can do what ever they want to...doesn't make it right.
"homophobic" = secular label for people who don't believe in secular behavior which simply exists ...THE END.

Not sure. I think this points out, though, that being famous does not necessarily mean that you have learned how to be famous.
