What a beautiful shrub! I should think it would make a nice hedge. Here's the description.

Prunus laurocerasus x “Schipkanensis’ Schip Laurel:

Medium growing upright evergreen shrub. Likes sun to part shade. Fragrant white flowers in spring replaced by black cherry-like fruit in summer. Leaves smaller and more narrow than an English laurel. Grows 6-10 ft, spreads 3-7 ft.
