I bought 3 chorus girls who do a song and dance number themed around me every time before I enter a new room. I don't want to go into how expensive it is but it's more than the car payment.

Just off the top of my head, I'd say it was a IBM Thinkpad laptop I bought back in 1999. Still runs great today, too.
If you are including things we pay for over time, health insurance would certainly trump that.

College education. And it's the only one that offers a paycheck in return. Remember, you need a paycheck in order to buy that house that will increase in value over time.
