Accidentally got quiet mode switched on. When trying to turn up the volume, get the message "deactivate quiet mode first". When I go to Settings => Sound Settings => Quiet mode, the only 2 options I am seeing there are Vibrate and Mute. ANY IDEAS?

just press and hold the # key for a couple of seconds !! ( same again to activate silent mode )

there is a shortcut to deactivate silent mode. press and hold * button for 3 sec. or the # key. i forget which one oreadi

I got rid of my phone about 9 months ago but if my memory serves me right you push the top left function key followed by the hash or star key.

look on the keypad and there should be a pic of a speaker with a line through it press and hold it should sort it out

if its like the d900 its the # button hold it for a few secs
