it does nt work on my laptop ive installed it n it says insert cd1 wat do i do?

You must open the crack file.... Put the first cd and go to "my computer" and write click on the game and open the files... when you open it open the crack folder... and you will see sims 2 university picture... write click on it and copy... then go to your program files and find Maxis; that's the sims 2 game's folder.. anyway open it and paste the picture you've copied before... and make a shortcut to your desktop.. when you click on it the game will start...

Check out sims2.com they have good FAQs there. Sometimes it just doesnt work well on certain laptops.

did u put the first cd in? if u did and i didn't work, u may need to go to the web site and get a patch, or if that doesn't work, email the company and ask. go to www.thesims2.com

btw, the sims AREN"T ALIVE!!!!! so don't bother feeding them.....
