I have some designer purses not because they are Chanel or Louis Vuitton or whatever, but because they are really beautifully made, and I know they will last a long time (plus they are super cute). I would never buy a Gucci purse just because it said "gucci" across the front. Regular purses are fine. I have a few expensive designer purses, as well as some really cute ones from Target and the like. People who buy purses for the designer are kind of irritating. I think it is none of the guys buisness what kind of purse the girl buys. Not all girls have designer purses for the label.

for me, it has nothing to do with a designer (its a bonus), i just buy the purse because its cute.
i don't know any girl that will buy a purse just cuzz its designer, and she doesn't like the way it looks.
i have a couple of Coach purses, Gucci, Fendi, and quite a few just regular purses from Target or Macy's. I buy them because they are cute... not becuase they are designer.
and like it says up above, unless you are asked to hold the purse, you shouldn't care.
its called stereotyping, if you are thinking that the girl is materalistic just because she has something designer. she just might have taste, and might have saved up a lot of money for a particular item just because she thought it was pretty.

I totally agree with you. Those purses are the ugliest things i've ever seen. Whatever happened to Walmart they sell less tackey purses there. So I have the same question. What are you girls thinking?

Meh not that great. I find you can get great stuff that not designer. Personally i don't think the guy would notice what purse your carrying.They've got better things to look at on a girl!

Yeah, it is so "look into me". My mom has a coach handbag that she's had for about 15 years, that's black and does not have the call on it everywhere, she has gotten a super sort of use out of it and that i think of the "qualitly" is what she offered it for and it has truthfully served her nicely. She makes use of it popular. i admire the "old college" fashion designer handbags.

unless you are asked to hold the purse, what do you care? i'm not into paying huge amounts of money for a purse, but there are cute purses out there. doesn't have to be a brand name.

I think girls have designer purses want people to think they have money and want to "be cool" by havin them. But I think their pretty cute.

what do you spend money on ...thats costly...do you think some people think its ridiculous? Whats wrong with a regular purse? you dont carry a purse so you dont know whats pretty and whats not....am not saying that they buy it because it looks good...but u dont carry the purse so what do you care?

Sometimes, designer bags are not cute because they are designer, but because they are ACTUALLY very cute. I personally think Louis' are not that great, but I love Juicy Couture. Not because its Juicy brand, but because the bags are genuinely gorgeous.
