Isn't killing, killing regardless of what it's for? I'm relating killing families in Iraq to selling drugs to keep from being homeless. Why come the rich people don't go to war with the poor people? Why come the media don't promote diversity enough in society? Why come our country spends so much on Military equipment instead of education and other things that matter? And last but not least, Why do help other people when we don't even help people in our own country? Just some questions... a few questions that were on my mind. LOL Now that I got that off my chest!

Americans are helped enough. You just think you deserve better than the rest of the world. Go abroad and see what real poverty is.

God, at least the one the blogbaba serves said "Thou shalt not kill". Your on the right track, but I disagree with your premise that the media promoting diversity is even relevant. People in general are self centered warmongering and any thing but moral.

Any time morality is approached by a public figure, the speaker is attacked from multiple directions by God knows how many slanted media sources and labeled politically incorrect by those who most likely violate the very morality being discussed.

It's enough to make a Left wing liberal such as the blogbaba defend the right wing moral majority. It is ok for the Bush administration to ignore the Saudi attack of 9/11 on New York and somehow just to attack Afghan and Iraqi oil rich countries who had little or nothing to do with it. The capper is It is a hate crime to object to it to strongly. You think "right" or "wrong" has any meaning in this kind of a world.

Meanwhile back at the ranch.......

If you mean Self Defense when killing for personal reasons, that is not wrong. Nor is killing in defense of your nation.

Many rich people go to war with the poor because they too have a strong sense of concern for their countrymen. I personally sat in at the recruiting center as a young man, sole heir to a restaurant chain fortune, enlisted to become a sniper so he could help in the hunt for Bin Laden.

If you do not spend on military equipment, you will be spending a lot on new school textbooks assigned by whomever conquers your nation.

All comes down to money...it's profitable to engage in war on foreign soil...war on our own soil would reduce the labor force twice as fast

First I would change "Why come" to "Why do".

You raise very good points in your question. I asked a chaplain the same question when I was in the service. He looked baffled. Its easy to follow the crowd like a herd of buffalo. It takes courage to question the herd. I applaud you your courage. Keep asking...

Killing is wrong, however if you are doing it to protect yourself, then no. Such as if someone broke into your house you would shoot them and save your family. That is just like the war, some one came into our house (9/11) and now we are protecting ourselves.
