Most of the guests in Golden Days Hotel are people who come back year after year, everyone is so friendly and the staff are brilliant.
The accommodation is spotless,very basic but what else do you need? The hotel has an excellent restaurant on the terrace which is open from 08:30-20:30,breakfast is served til 1130,which is great after a night in town.
The bar is open all day & very reasonably priced. The hotel also has a pool table,dart board, swimming pool where lots of fun & games go on mainly due to Lambros who's whole purpose in life seems to be to make sure you're having a good time & a lovely garden where you can just while away the hours on a sunlounger.
There's regular entertainment including a Greek night with dancing & a barbecue which is a must, a karaoke night where once again Lambros shines & a quiz evening
The hotel is located in Afandou. If you are looking for a safe, friendly resort with good bars and restaurants but nothing too wild then Afandou is perfect. You can get the bus into Rhodes Town from the square - well worth a visit - and Faliraki is a short taxi ride away if you want livelier nightlife
We had the best holiday we could have wished for, I will definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone.

I've not heard of the Golden Days hotel, but it sounds like you want to be stuck in one place.
This is a very beautiful island and varying where you stay is a great option to get the most out of your visit. I've enclosed an accommodation link for Rhodes in case it comes in handy for comparison, or if you want to investigate some pictures. Hope it helps:

I do not know "who is using" the hotel - whatever this means. My only recommendation is that even if it is the top hotel, do not spend your days there. Rhodes is a big island, with several beautiful long beaches (Afantou is definitely one of them), substantial cultural heritage and a lively nightlife. You can rent a car or a motorbike (the infrastructure is good) and be somewhere else every day. Enjoy yourself.
