"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the
degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested
service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and
this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American
citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

I'm not either a Democrat or a liberal. I'm a moderate Independent who takes great pride in having the right to disagree and voice that disagreement over the chaotic Mad Max movie this President has boxed us into in Iraq. There is no question who owns this war - it belongs to Bush. The Decider told us that in no uncertain terms. So while all the Bush bots are busy trying to blame the votes of those who were hood winked by this Administration the rest of us clear eyed individuals are calling a duck a duck and agreeing with the President that he is indeed the Decider and this war belongs to him - lock, stock and barrel.

I have a problem believing that the Bush bots can even think for themselves, much less grow up enough to see the forest AND the trees. Who are you to tell everyone who doesn't agree with your crowd, and that's approximately 70% of the nation, to "get over themselves" and shut up because the rest of you are tired of fighting the truth and are content to blindly trust this clearly incompetent President? Please, your consent for the rest of us to dissent is neither requested nor required.

Because Bush's Presidential policy is totally in favor of the upper 1% of the richest elite, and almost as militant towards the poor in the U.S. as he is towards the Middle East. When did the Federal government decide it no longer had to "govern" the people of the United States and become a wholly owned subsidiary of a massive corporate conglomerate.

It is the Bush administration and the elite it serves that need to get over themselves, I mean how much money is enough? How many dead are enough? Bush is to blame, at least for the ills of the United States. Homeless people, Health care, the deterioration of our Countries industrial base, the trend of the American middle class going the way of the Buffalo and the war in the Middle East. He ignored and exploited those he was elected to serve, and that is why us liberals will continue to oppose such insane rule.

We find his uncanny resemblance to a Chimp somewhat humorous as well, but the results of his Presidential incompetence aren't the least bit humorous.

Because he Orchestrated the terror attacks of 911 murdering 3000 innocent people. Hitler did the same thing to his country. Leaders of great countries will sometimes bomb and murder their own people just so they can use it as a pretext for military intervention into other countries. In President Bush's case it was Afghanistan & Iraq. Next he will make up lies so he can invade Iran. You need to brush up on your homework a little bit which is O.K. 3 years ago I was just as blind to the truth as you may be now. Once I discovered what the truth really was I basically went into a state of shock. I spent the next 3 years investigating the truth and I was horrified at what I found. My husband is serving in Iraq right now and he feels the same way I do. Here are a few sites you can check out to get you started...

Bush is the enemy of humanity. Bush caused world hunger.

Seriously, He lied to start a war that got people killed who would otherwise be living today (more than likely). Not saying you have, but many people act upset at people who are telling the truth about Bush.

If Bush didn't lie to start this war, Bush bashers such as myself would be singing a different tune. Unfortunately he did and good people are dead because of it. Cheney attacked the CIA for telling the truth about the fallacies Bush was spewing prior to invading Iraq. Bush earned every basher he has and the numbers continue to grow.

Good question by the way...

He is "The Decider" after all. And the Decider gets to take the blame for his decisions.

He leaves himself open to the stupid things he does. Try reading State of Denial by Bob Woodard, it might enlighten you on Bush and his administration.
