I just find it peculiar that the United States is the ONLY country that has bases in almost every country in the world and I ask what is the reasons behind this? Is the U.S. Government and corporations the head of the new world order or what???

Because the U.S. won WWII. It supposedly is to protect the world from ever allowing another dictator to take over the world.

Well for one you asked 2 questions in one.
First you asked why the US has bases abroad.
Then you made some crackpot conspiracy theory question about the US and dun... dun... dun...World Domination.
Well for the first question.
After WW2 the US found itself the leading economic and agricultural nation. With an abundance of food and jobs anything seemed possible in America.
But the country grew complacent and the people became ignorant of the hatred some people had for us. We ignored the signs, the attacks on our nation which happened time and time again with bombings and highjacking.
Then one sleepy morning everthing changed. On September 11th 2001 the United States of America was attacked on it's own soil on a level more devastating than the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The United States of America is now a nation at war. While Europe nods off in apathy only a few nations remain vigilant.
We are now under attack from multiple foes in many arenas.
THAT my friend is why the US has bases overseas.

As for your conspiracy theory...I don't know. I think the US is protecting it's own national interests and protecting even the nations that slander us for defending ourselves and them at the same time.

Many countries that are our allies do not have the budget to develop an advanced military force. So, they ask us to help in their defense. Also, we are a part of NATO and provide its major muscle.

Essentially, if any nation attacks one of our allies, they are likely to end up attacking US troops, therefore committing an act of war against the US. That is a powerful deterrent.

Its not the head, it's just overextending itself. Eventually after mad button pushing, nations will rise up and do something about it!
