What is a number called when it is infinitely small or large (not exactly but kind of, see the examples to get what i mean) but still exists?
For example the smallest number between 0 and 1 or the maximum kinetic energy a ball about to hit the ground will get.

an infinitely small number is called an infinitesimal an infinitely large number is just called infinity. If you are referring to the bounds of a particular set the smallest and largest are called the infimum and supremum abbreviated inf and sup.

Well, your first example DOESN'T exist, at least not in conventional number systems.

But the word you're looking for may be "infinitesmal." When people try to postulate such a number, that's usually what they call it.
