I want to get myself tested for STDs, and talk to someone about going on the Pill. Should I visit a gynocologist for this, or am able to just visit my GP?

Whoever you're comfortable with. And if your GP is male you can request a female GP for your yearly check up & they'll accomodate you.
It's your body.

Go to the GP you won't have to wait as long or your local health unit

Your GP should be able to handle both of those things. Cheaper too.

As the other posters said you can check with your primary care physician to see if they will do it. Sometimes the kind of insurance one has (if they have it) will dictate which dr they must see for something like this.

You can go to your GP, but I prefer going to my OBGYN since that is what they specialize in.

You can see either doctor for that. I suggest you see whomever you're more comfortable seeing for those matters.
