Yup, indeed you're right. Most of the shops are closed until today and will only resume normal business hours tomorrow onwards. But for your info, most food outlets and restaurants already started their business since on Saturday till today. I was at Marina Square - Xin Wang Restaurant on Saturday & Sunday for supper & dinner.
As for normal retail shops, I'm unsure if they're open for business yet. But I'm pretty sure most of them will be resuming their business tomorrow. It is a normal rule in Singapore that business will be in operation, based on Chinese Lunar Year Day 3, which is 20th Feb 2007.

certain. In my area, maximum issues were open the former day. It in trouble-free terms seems Christmas day that is referred to as a nationwide holiday now, and that i worry which will quickly substitute also! this can be a 24/7 society! Trains are evil immediately besides the undeniable fact that... I waited 42minutes for mine this morning, and that is not any longer warmth!
