read this infomation i got off the interenet .
Yes, blind people do dream. What they see in their dreams depends on how much they could ever see. If someone has been totally blind since birth, they only have auditory dreams. If someone such as I, has had a measure of sight, then that person dreams with that measure of sight. I still dream as though I can see, colors included. For people I've met since, their faces are just blurs or how I imagine they look. To me, someone like my mother looks forever 30. "

iam a girl and almost 19 i hope this is a good answer

We don't see with our eyes, we see with our brain and light.
When our eyes are shut, we can't see anything,
blind or not.

A blind person may never have seen anything, but his other
senses have and are even stronger than our own. So I submit that that person has an idea of what things are like. And I would say that those ideas take shape in his dreams.

Dreams are not only linked with our sense of vision, our rest of four senses also take part in shaping our dreams.
Sounds, textures, tastes and smells also build up our dreams.
The dreams are actually the continuity of ones active brain's thinking process during sleep. If a blind person cannot think than I'll agree with you that they cannot dream as well.

no longer even sighted human beings can "see" their desires. regardless of the undeniable fact that, they might have exceptional representation of sight jointly as dreaming. As this variety of ingredient does no longer require your eyes or with the flexibility to work out i do no longer see a rationalization why blind human beings can not do an identical. exceedingly in circumstances the place the guy is blind because of the fact of a few fault of their eyes and not some fault of their concepts. exceedingly, exceedingly once you weren't born blind yet grew to develop into blind by way of a pair fault on your eyes. nevertheless, i do no longer think of the flaws they "see" of their desires will look something like the flaws that we "see" jointly as dreaming. And it incredibly is all only supposition.

interesting Nasim...
i suppose for those who were born blind, i wouldnt really know. but i suppose they have some form of a picture in their mind of how things are meant to be or should be. as for those who became blind at a later stage, yes they would dream because they've seen the world before...

Yes, every human has dreams....just because we are asleep doesn't mean that our brain has quit functioning.

Blind people have an understanding of other senses and most likely what they experience through those senses is what they dream about.

they would dream because although they are blind, they are still human, and any human with a functional brain dreams. their dreams would be very abstract in comparison to a person with sight because their definition of the way things appear is determined by their personality and outlook on life.

that is so freaking crazy me and my mom were just having this exact conversation last week and I think that they must dream because dreams have nothing to do with your eyes but with your brain but since the "see" things differently in their brains then we do they must "vision" things alot differently right?? wow this is hurting my head trying to figure it out haha!
