Its a baby. As soon as the egg and sperm connect, its a baby. It will be months before your child could live outside of you, but that doesn't make the child any less alive.

Biologically life begins at conception. (The moment the sperm and egg cell join together.)
From conception the zygote (later called a fetus:Latin for Child or offspring) has a blueprint which makes it a Homo Sapian Sapian (a human being) in the form of DNA which also gives it the ability to reproduce, it has a metabolism, it creates waste byproducts, it maintains homeostasis at the cellular level and so on.
Anyone that tells you that life dose not begin at the point of conception holds a position which is in opposition to a verifiable scientific fact which has not been disprove by the scientific method.
Besides you know in your heart of hearts that it is a baby and God has created that life just as he created you.
PS life starting at implantation is not a scientific answer its a philosophic answer which makes people that kill their baby's with "birth" (not contraception) control pills feel all warm and fuzzy. Look up the Biological Principles because you way off base.

yes that baby is a baby as soon as it's conceived. babies have organs and a heart at around 3 weeks... most women don't know they are pregnant until about a month later.... when the baby is well,..... 4-5 weeks along. the process happens so quickly that there's no time to say "oh, it's not a baby yet..." hope this helps you...

technically depending on your beliefs, some people believe that a baby is a person the instant it is created, others believe different.
Scientifically, in the first month (1-4 weeks):
-embryo implants (attaches) to the wall of the uterus and develops rapidly
-heartbeat begins on the 25th day
-arm buds appear on the 26th day
-leg buds appear on the 28th day
-primitive digestive system develops
So basically that gives you an idea.

To me this is already a human being.
I would never kill a baby but this is up to the person. I know from a family member killing a baby is about the hardest thing to do.....

It has the potential, if you allow it, to be a baby, it is a complex collection of cells that miraculously transforms into your son/daughter, your toddler, teenager, best friend, someones husband/wife and eventually someone elses parent.
Congratulations!

Look at this website and decide for yourself. It is on fetal development and shows pictures of each week of pregnancy so you can see what your baby looks like.
