My last period was Jan. 14th, I just found out i'm pregnant tonight, and i need to know...is it really just tissue or is it already a baby?

Its a baby. As soon as the egg and sperm connect, its a baby. It will be months before your child could live outside of you, but that doesn't make the child any less alive.

Hi yes, I am 9 weeks pregnant and i think a baby is a baby the day of conception.... being pregnant is a very beautiful thing... and id like to correct the one lady below me that said a baby cant live outside until 6 months or later.. that is false.. my bestfriend just had to have her baby at 5 months bc of her liver, and the baby is doing great... only 1 pound 9 ounces but the baby is perfect health, but cant breath on its own right now... but will be home in about 3 months...

PS life starting at implantation is not a scientific answer its a philosophic answer which makes people that kill their baby's with "birth" (not contraception) control pills feel all warm and fuzzy. Look up the Biological Principles because you way off base.

yes that baby is a baby as soon as it's conceived. babies have organs and a heart at around 3 weeks... most women don't know they are pregnant until about a month later.... when the baby is well,..... 4-5 weeks along. the process happens so quickly that there's no time to say "oh, it's not a baby yet..." hope this helps you...

To me this is already a human being.
I would never kill a baby but this is up to the person. I know from a family member killing a baby is about the hardest thing to do.....
