So you think that capturing Bin Laden wouldn't have stopped 9/11? Well what about capturing Sheik Muhammed? Which occured after Bush enacted "The War on Terror". Bush reached out to countries all over the world with known terrorists that live in their countries to turn terrorists over to the United States. Sheik Muhammed was wanted for conspiring against the United States in a 1995 plot to blow up Airlines headed to America and the death of journalist Daniel Pearl who had his head cut off with a bouie knife. He was also revealed to be the "Mastermind" of 9/11. Please tell me, would democrats have enacted a similar war of terror, yeilding the mastermind of 9/11?

Jamie, about the only thing Democrats have to say about Bin Laden and his type is the world would be far better off without murdering fundelmentalist nut cases like Osama in it. Worring about what "might" happen is foolish, and exactly what scum like Bin Laden and his neo-conservative support structure want you to do. Sac up and move on, yesterdays gone and like Janice said tommorow does't exist. Today, both the conservative Republican war profiteering right wing, and the liberal cut and run Democatic left wing are in a war that determines if Western society gets to continue living. I know it's hard to believe, but whether we surge or run, the war isn't going to end anytime soon.
Sorry pal, happy endings are for fairy tales. Knoiw your enemy, and quit attcking us Dems. We think not putting our soldiers in convoys with IUD's pointed at them "IS' supporting the troops, not running. What do you want to do, show a Iraqi sniper how tough our Marines are by putting an American popup target on every corner in Bagdad.
Common sense says make it as difficult as possible for the enemy to kill your soldiers. The quickest way to do that is to get out of the line of fire. I don't know about you, but the blogbaba could care less about the stability of Bagdad or Iraq, I'm more concerned with New Orleans and the U.S. Eventually justice will be served, until then we take each day as it comes an pray for an end to the insanity.
