I think company's with no dating co worker policies are plain stupid. I mean of COURSE it's gonna happen whether they allow it or not, and who are they to say its not allowed? think about it logically work is where you spend most of your day it makes sense that you could develp feelings for someone there.

I think if you were to fight it, just say it is not in anyway distracting from your work and that at work you are purely profesisonal and then act that way.

I would keep it a secret. It gets very tricky dating a co worker and even trickier if something goes wrong in the relationship. It is never a good idea to date someone you work with but it can always work out too. My advice would be to keep it a secret for as long as you can. My workplace does not have such a policy but do have a policy that you cannot be married or related to a co worker however they do not enforce it.

well if there is a no dating co-worker policy no i dont think you can fight anything because you already know the rules and guidelines of your job. Even though your manager and supervisor are married remember they have the upper hand over you.

I think it is a great idea. Keep it secret until you get married. Or like where my Mr. works one of you move to another place in the company, if that is it is possible?

You have nothing to stand on if this is in the rule books-this comes from my Mr. who is a boss where he works. BTW my Mr. knows at least one couple and he doesn't say anything, not worth loosing good people....

I really think it's best. Once you bring in couples and married couples into a work place it can cause problems

Many companies have this policy, as it detracts from your work potential.

their is probably a policy for certain reasons. as long as you don't cause problems, they won't have to act on it. you probably can't fight it.
