Does anyone know of any companies that produce products that are tested on animals, I dont care what products they are just if you know of any let me know because I am not buying anything that I know of that is animal tested. Also how do I go about making a difference and joining those groups that are against animal testing? How is this legal that these sick people are still allowed to do torcherous and painful testing?! This makes me angry

I think it's EVIL! I researched it for a presentation I was doing on it in English to try and raise some awareness among my classmates and came up with a whole bunch of stuff. People say 'oh well it's all for the best animal experimenting, would you rather people died? They can get important cures!' But actually only 25% of ALL tests they've run have proved something. That other 75% didn't DO ANYTHING FOR US! It was just a bunch of poor animals who don't deserve to be shaved bald and have acidic things put on them to see whether it burns or have things put into their eyes that blind them. As for the meat eating... I have to admit, I am not a vegetarian but only eat free range meat. There are those people again who think they know what it's all about 'These animals have had a good life!' Oh no, those plump chickens you see at the supermarket have mostly had 6 measly weeks! They feed them chemicals to fatten their bodies up. On the journey to the slaughter house, because they're packed up in such tight spaces and their thin legs which are meant to support chick bodies, their legs break. So no, they haven't had a good life and it isn't painless!
Here's the main charity against animal cruelty- http://www.peta.org/
If you want anything else just simply type 'animal cruelty' into the google search and there'll be a whole bunch of stuff
Sorry I can't name any products- I'm only 12 and really have that much time spare thanks to homework. Good luck in fighting- When I'm older I'll be there with you.

You eat Meat?... An Yummy hamburger or a delicious pork tendor loin?.

I am asking you because a lot of people talk just like you while munching chicken lollipop.

If you do, then first thing you need to do is to become a strict vegitarian. That can make a difference.

Added:

It's not about 'torture' or 'pain'. It's about life one has to think. Life has a bigger meaning. To find it, just think of your life. You are taking away someone's life to satisfy your desire (hunger in this case) which could have been easily fulfilled by somethingelse. I don't subscribe to the silly argument that it is ok to eat the animals as long as they don't suffer with pain. By saying so, we are just being hypocractical. What is the difference between the 'life' of a person and the 'life' of a chicken?

I`m sorry ur concern is answered with sarcasm from some, but that is to be expected. Someone has to speak for the voiceless. An organization thats protests animal cruelty is PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) their website is...info@peta.org
They r now fighting the company that produces the drink called Pom, which is found at any supermarket, it is tested on animals. They also fight the inhumane slaughter of chickens that KFC uses and they protest the use of fur because of the horrible way animals r killed so as not to damage their pelts. for use in making fur coats. Another website is....www.hsus.org it is The Humane Society of the US. Bless you for caring. The testing of foods and cosmetics on animals r uncalled for, as that can be done on computers. Our bodies r not the same as a dog or cat and the horrors animals r put thru r unspeakable as is the electrocution of foxes so some rich broad can own a fox fur coat. I don`t protest the eating of meat, I protest the way animals r slaughtered to obtain that meat. If we`re going to eat them, at least give them a fast painless death.

I think the whole war on animal testing is a double edged sword. If we don't test drugs, chemicals, etc. on some sort of living organism before we use these on humans we are putting our lives at risk...at the same time, I feel for the animals and don't believe its humane to subject animals to cruel tests.

I wish there could be a resolution to it...but somewhere out there its happening and it breaks my heart.

Ok...All of these people are SO STUPID!

It makes me mad...

Any way

I know HARTZ animal product tests on animals. So does Iams.
Bath and Body works tests their unfinished products on animals.

The Body Shop Founder is against animal testing. She has an awesome book.

I hope i was any help!

In Addition:

We should stop testing on animals and test on people. They should have a volunteer line up. If its to risky to test on humans whats the point of the product??

IAM GLAD TO HEAR OF SOMEONE WHO IS SO CONCERNED ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS...IF MOST PEOPLE COULD SEE HOW THOSE POOR ANIMALS HAVE TO SUFFER BEFORE THEY ARE KILLED THEY WOULDNT EAT MEAT..READ THE BOOK SLAUGHTER HOUSE,OR GO TO PETA .ORG AND WATCH SOME OF THE VIDIEOS ON THERE..IF YOU DONT CRY OR FEEL REMORSE THEN YOUR NOT HUMAN..I READ SLAUGHTER HOUSE AND I NOW DO NOT EAT MEAT..ALL THE ANIMALS I HAVE ARE PETS AND WILL DIE A NORMAL DEATH...I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE TO EAT MEAT BUT MY GOD DO THEY HAVE TO BE TORTURED AND BEAT OR SCALED WHILE STILL ALIVE...ITS NOT FAIR THEY HAVE NO VOICE.IT IS A VERY SAD THING THAT MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT..MORE POWER TO YOU....SLAUGHTER HOUSES SHOULD BE MADE OF GLASS...
