I would be very upset for a little while. Then I would realize that just because they have moved away, The Internet brings us much closer and we could still keep our friendship alive. If it's a love interest then that's more difficult, because it would be time to let go and enjoy, remember celebrate, what you had. If it is meant to be in the future it will happen. That goes for a close friendship too. I believe people come into our lives to help us as we do them, to deal with issues and grow from the relationship. Some people are in our lives 5weeks 5yrs 50yrs as long as they're meant to be.
So keep in touch via the Internet, post cards, e-mails.Maybe plan a holiday to spend time with your friend once they're settled.

if that someone has gone away that doesn't mean u hv lost that person. there are still chances for him to come back. but 4 that u hv 2 make him realize that u r thr... who misses him a lot. some guys are really very innocent and they need somebody beside them with whom they can share their feelings, just be that someone first,,, keep in touch with him by mails, calls, greetings etc. let him feel that u care for him, ask him about his life style over there, his friends, his colleges etc to know about him more and to make him feel that u r the one with whom he can share his thoughts and if he likes somebody else also he will tell u frankly about it just in the form of sharing his secrets as a friend and if he doesn't.... then go ahead, make him crazy and make him urs......! all the best!!
