It's a good idea. The chemicals used on the fabric could cause an allergic reaction.

Underwear doesn't take up that much room in the washer. You should wash them after each time you wear them. Invest in a couple more packs and a hamper...maybe cost you $20. You could be saving yourself from a bad infection by making sure your underwear are clean. That's worth a tiny extra bit of soap and water. Really.

I always wash my underwear whether I am buying the loose ones from vicky's or the package ones. I have seen people try on underwear and it just freaks me out, so I do it as a precaution.

Technically yes, but I think you're pretty safe either way, I've never heard of anyone dieing of underwear disease or anything. I read that you're supposed to wash any type of clothing you buy in stores because at the very least there are still ruminants of dyes that can irritate your skin.

i don't, but my clothing construction teacher told us a horror story about some lady getting a nipple infection after wearing a new bra. supposedly this occurred because the sweatshops where they are made are really dirty and unhygienic. so i would say yes and i'm going to start next time i make a purchase. you never know where they've been...

You never who's touched them when making them I would still wash them just in case you never know, its better to be safe then sorry.
