So i just got done watching vanilla sky and i am a little confused. At first it says that Cameron Diaz was the one that drove the car off of the bridge and killed herself, but then there is a scene where the car drives off the bridge and Cameron diaz is standing on the bridge watching. And i dn't see how it can be sofia because he left sofia's house and then drove off the bridge. Can someone clear up this for me?

Julianna Gianni (played by Cameron Diaz) and David Aames (played by Tom Cruise) were in the car crash. It was Julianna who drove the car off the bridge.

As far as I can remember it was Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruises characters I think the sequence your talking about is a nightmare he had one of him going over the edge and Diaz's character standing watching him.
