Good question.

I wouldn't doubt it at all. The universe is so large, there's a good probability that the same conditions we have on Earth are the same on a planet outside of our solar system.

The universe is so vast that I have a hard time believing we are completely unique. The worlds may not be similar enough to have developed life exactly like that on earth, but I do believe that there is life out there somewhere, probably on more than one planet.

Then again, I'm a fan of alternate and parallel universe theories, so maybe I'm not the best person to answer this...

Among the planets of the solar system, only the earth has
the optimal atmosphere for living beings.

The Vishnu Purana says that the earth is merely one of
thousands of millions of inhabited worlds like itself to be
found in the universe. There will be only one planet which
resembles our earth in the planetory system of each of
the stars. Since they are created by the one Alimighty who
is infinite, they all must look similar. This excludes the
possibility of E.T. (extra terrestial beings with fantastic
gears) proposed by some science finction writers.

My soul has come from one such earth. I have some
memories of my past life.

Yes just imagine a speck of dust orbiting a star that could contain another solar system. I believe that there are other realms with other genders and sexes. I think some may be bigger or smaller than our own. or more infinate or lucid.
i believe that there are reptillians and invisibles. and those horrid GREYS that have been fascinated the most by society.
I enjoyed the show "Sliders" (downloadable off the net.) that touched on this subject the most for me. They could travel to other worlds with a TV remote and not all of those worlds were accomodating. and they ran into twins of theirs on worlds that were leaders, millionaires, wanted etc It was mostly filmed in vancouver british columbia my home town and it helped alter my conciousness.

Why not? It is no more surprising to find that there is life on other planets than to find that there is life on this one. According to the ancient Vedas, there are innumerable planets in the material world, and there are innumberable life forms that live on them. Some of them are similar to ours, and some of them are very different. Even on this planet, there are millions of types of life forms, from the extinct dinasaur, the aquatics, the plants, the insects, the birds, the beasts, and the humans. It would be very arrogant to suggest that we are the only life in the immense universe.

Faith and science don't go together. Hence, Why don't you leave that to science to establish that. Good scientific experiments can not be performed by one who believesd in faith. Mythologically, the Hindus believe that there are other worlds than earth. But again, faith does not require any proof for its beliefs.

At the bottom line, when your beliefs and my beliefs has ntohing to do with the realities, and the relality is science, don't you feel that the question itself is unwarranted.

Considering the vastness of the universe there most likely are other places that are similiar to earth. Although might be in various states of evolution. Also, the rules of science most likely not apply in`other universes.

People say three Worlds people know.

People say seven Worlds are there.

Hindu Sastras say fourteen Worlds

I feel there are more than forteen Worlds.

Humanly not possible to know exactly and about other Worlds.

God only can know details about other Worlds.
