crdi stands for COMMON RAIL DIRECT FUEL INJECTION. its a type of fuel injection used in latest diesel cars. in these cars all the fuel injectors are connected to single high pressure fuel pumps. they pump in fuel at 1800 bar. so the fuel injected in to the engine is much cleaner and the engine will be more efficient. the engine will run quietly and also at less vibration.
