35 weeks pregnant and during intercourse it feels as though he is hitting something. It is extremly painful. We tried different possitions and him not goin in as far but all to no avail.

At my last appointment 2 weeks ago my doctor told me intercourse was ok. And up until 3 days ago everything was fine. We have tried a number a different possitions but still the same result. We haven't had it since to be safe.

It's not true that you *shouldn't* be having sex now or that you are hurting your baby. But if you are finding it very painful and have tried different positions, then it might be time to stop for a while. Everything is pretty squashed up in that part of your body now so that's probably what is causing the discomfort!

I know every pregnancy is different, but i was fine at 41 weeks with my first - we had frequent sex as i was overdue and thought it might trigger off labour - it didn't work!!!
I have to say though, things started to get a bit tighter "in there" towards the end. You may want to explore yourself inside to see what it is that may be hurting - my cervix dropped quite low towards the end as my baby had a HUGE head, it may just be tender due to all the pressure down there?

I am 31 weeks and am having the same problem. I ask my mom and she says to "stop it stupid!" That was her motherly advice, but then this is my third pregnancy too. I Should be used to things hurting by now! Try oral from now on at least you're still getting something.

You shouldn't be going through intercourse if it is painful. I'm sure your fella will understand. Your 35 weeks!!! Good luck with the pregnancy anyway and I wish you the best and hope that your baby is perfect. I'm sure it will be. :D

well maybe you are too far along, if it hurts you then don't do it. its not bad for the baby or anything. just ask your doctor about it hes probably hitting your uterus and since youre so close to giving birth its probably set lower and its easier to hit during intercourse. try doing other stuff other than intercourse, so its not painful to you.

wow 35 weeks? couple more to go... hope everything goes ok for you & the lil one. Maybe you can try other things (oral, anal, sex toys, ect.)
Ever heard that joke: A lady has a baby, the baby is held by the father & the baby starts poking the father in the forehead and says "hows it feel?"

refrain from sex now just to be on the safe side. but i had my daughter 35 weeks and we had sex almost everyday up until a week before i had her cause i was in labour for 6days.

Tell your man sorry but you are closed for business.I hope this does not offend you but I to am35 wks and I take care of my man orally.This should hold him for a while.I know what your going through sex is just awkward and uncomfortable!!Congratulations on your new baby!!!

if your got a safe pregnancy as in no complications at all, its fine to have intercourse..
the pain could be due to dryness ..try to lubricate some more

do you know should not have intercourse do you know more intercourse you have fast the baby will come i have my doctor told with my daughter to have intercourse at 5 time a week but was my husband was happy when the Doctor
