My aunt got up this morning with a burning pain down the middle of her chest to her stomach and a burning throat. It hurts a lot when she coughs she has nausea and a mild headache. Any suggestions as to what it might be? If theres something I need to specify please ask and I'll add a detail. Thanks for any help.

She called the nurses and they advised waiting till tommorow to come in.

I hear you guys but the people at the ER don't. So I need a diagnosis so they will let her in or know if she doesn't need to go.

Why have you not taken her to Urgent care? Please advise her the best thing is this...you never know what this may lead to.
adding to your details: Don;t call them...they can't and won't diagnose over the phone....go there! They could be wrong and then if it turns out worse how and what are you going to do and feel?

It could be a simple case of heart burn or it could be more serious. Heart disease and heart burn can have very similar symptoms. Don't waste anytime, go to the ER right away.
