I'm looking at a violin case to buy, But they have this weird messerment system. 1/16 1/10 4/4 1/2 1/4 3/4 1/8. Can any one tell me how long that is in CM. or IN. Or what that all means. Thanks

Those measurements are the size of the violin that the case will hold. If you have a full size instrument (which is most common) then get a 4/4ths case. The way you can tell what size your instrument is, is to look in the f-hole. In the violin, there is a label that tells you who the maker of the violin is and other things. If you still can't figure out the size of the violin, just go into a violin shop and ask. They should be able to help you there. Hope this helped!
