...not too long ago, people were squealing about the governments decision not to jail as much criminals, with the usual papers deciding to slip in the words 'sex offenders' to have us all email our disgust back to the bringers of such news. Now, Mr. Blair was performing another knee-jerk action...which makes the last action somewhat meaningless. Jail bairns not only with guns - but who are in 'gangs' (we were not given a definition of that particular sparkler) also for five years upward...so does that mean the new jails have been built long before time, or is it just to make people happy? Can see the old bugbear 'sus' law being slowly back-door'd to make us all happy...which, if anyone (belonging to a certain socio-economic group) between 1975-85 - who were in their late teens - early twenties can remember, will only mean hell for all. Will this make Labour just as 'unvote-able' for another 18 years?

It always has been, 2 good 2 miss...you can always not take part! The worst thing about the first answers (not unlike yours), the rest of the morons come out of the woodwork to write the same answer. Seen worst questions...especially rants about race and religion and immigration - the three major wanker-magnets on the UK part of Answers. I know...may not get as many answers (thought out and otherwise) now but hey - off to school to teach bairns who I hope will not end up like you, sir. Hope your day brings you serenity.

Thank you, Sir S...next week I will be going to Velez-Málaga for a fortnight, where I have a flat. And as I usually do whilst there, meet up with Spanish friends who live in Fuengirola. That particular town after 8pm has it's fair share of caucasian Britons (usually from the large cities of England - with 50% possessing the usual mockney accent)...when I'm there - will be thinking of you when seeing these morons intimidating Spaniards, shoplifting from supermercados, and doing the usual things that I'm sure make you proud...

Agree with the knee jerk thing, but laughed at the Home Office action to release the odd con here and there a few weeks ago. Dont think they will bring that sus law thing to try and lessen the gun crime. You shouldnt bother about the first one who answered. He has five thumbs down, and seeing how people are treating other answers of his, youre not the only one. Some on here are dab hands at putting spoilers on questions!
