Why are they calling him ''Blake''? And how come nobody cared about him while he was so sick? If one of my friends was that messed up I'd take them to a hospital

Blake is the name of a fictional character in the movie "Last Days" by Gus Van Sant. The character is supposed to be like Kurt Cobain, but the name Blake has absolutely nothing to do with Cobain. Kurt Cobain had been in rehab programs many times- with the support of his friends, family, and wife. He had also been in and out of the hospital many times.

The name Blake has nothing at all to do with Kurt Cobain.
Your question struck me as sad... "How come nobody cared about him while he was so sick?"
It is so hard to say isn't it? Because ultimately, someone who has drug abuse issues like Kurt did, can only help themselves. And those with addictions most times believe they do not have an issue with it, or that they can control it, or perhaps even in denial that it may kill them. Sometimes while in the drug abused state, they really don't care...just care about the feeling they are experiencing.
Kurt had a big demon on his back. It did not help that those around him were also abusing large quantities of drugs.
His wife, Courtney was bad enough by herself, but when she was with Kurt it was a maelstrom of bad luck. I believe they fed off of each other destructively.
I think many people cared about him, but he didn't care more about himself.
It was such a heartbreaking shame and pity that noone was able to help him when he was so sick.
Drug Rehab was the last thing he wanted.
He went through the motions for others, but not himself and that is why he stayed sick.

Kurt Donald Cobain is his birth name. He was cared about, to some extent. He was in rehab shortly before he killed himself. Blake is the name of the character in the movie "Last Days," which is loosely based on the story of Kurt Cobain, but the main character is fictional.

Blake was probably his nickname...His full is Kurt Donald Cobain like that dude said up there.^^^
