Leo Strauss, the teacher of the Neo-Cons who are running things (into the ground) in America right now, taught that a society needed Noble Lies that the populace must be brought to believe in order for a society to function well. The Neo-Cons put forth two noble lies - one, that the christian myths are true and and two, that America is a uniquely good and uniquely motivated country whose destiny is to bring freedom to the world.

Casus belli (sic), my latin needs practice.
Good cause for war as the roman empire found was a great way to motivate the masses. To link the cause, religion, a touch of fear, patriotism (or glory) together meant the net thrown over the population to support the action was greater than just the root cause often lost in detail.

So whether the war, the cause, the ideal, is right or wrong the lies to encompass support will always be told. When wars are won leaders are forgiven for the propaganda, when lost they are hung for lies.

Ask any vet what is just about dying (for any cause) in the dirt a long way from home before your 20 th birthday.

Remove the distractions and justifications. In or out? Positive or negative? Is there a better way to be in or out? "Religion is for the dying", a quote from a Gallipoli soldier.
Islamofascism = religious fascist - any religion, just look closer to home. They are all the same.

Getting people to hate and die for you is just getting people to do that which you need done to cement your power base. Other s use lobbyists. Note how religion and politics align during the US fed election. Religion and politics align in those countries now accused of fascism. It is a slippery slope reason and counter reason.

Americas greatest achievement of the last century was bringing peace to Europe after WW2. It helped rebuild Germany and reduced hostility from a defeated populace. The Russians on the other hand stripped the factories, demanded massive reparations, imprisoned people, raided their homes at all hours and vetoed the Parliament appointment. This caused massive resentment and hatred to the Russians and socialist leaders they put in place.

Sound familiar.

Islamofascism is a pretty cover word for being the typical violent Arab radical who seem to be doing well for themselves these days. As for unjust war, thats all up to interpretation as I could say that WW2 us attacking Germany was unjust as they never did anything to American citizens before.

Every war does need a reason to happen as most people wont kill each other just because they feel like it that day.

Nations all over the world are under attack by "Islamofascists". One needs to bury one's head deep to consider it a myth.

Even China has growing Islam-only communities that are attacking local government agents in order to 'liberate' Muslims lands inside China...

Regarding war... it does take a real change in psychological state to engage in all-out conflict. Just look at how much hype is attached to a football game to inspire the players and those who support them to boost their morale. War is a much more serious matter than a football game. It is a matter of survival.

It's not a myth, its a nightmare of unimaginable proportions. And the injustice is when we cannot even call it what it is, because it offends. Radical Islamic terrorism is not a myth, and if we do not fight this monster, it is coming to a theatre near us soon.

No, go hug a tree and sing some songs around a campfire hippie! The world is a nasty place, and to survive as a nation we have to get down right nasty right back at them!
